Instruction


A wide array of lesson packages is available at Wing Point Golf & CC with one of our three PGA Instructors.  Topics include short game, full swing (including video), and on-course lessons.  Detailed lesson plans will be tailored individually for students outlining improvement plans with practice and drill schedules included.  Members of Wing Point and their guests are encouraged to utilize our professional staff to improve their game.

Jeff was born in California and raised in Redmond, WA.  He played numerous sports growing up including basketball, golf, and baseball. He played 10 years of  professional baseball with the Oakland Athletics was a major league pitcher for the Kansas City Royals.  After baseball, he set his sights on the golf business and started at Wing Point Golf & CC in 2004 and received his Class A designation from the PGA of America in 2007.   He took over as Head Golf Professional in 2007 and added the title of General Manager of Wing Point Golf & CC in 2016.  Jeff’s enjoys spending family time with his wife Lauren and daughter Charlotte, son Dominic, and daughter Colette.  He also is very active in growing the game of golf through instruction and mentoring as well as coaching youth sports on Bainbridge Island.

Austin was born and raised a Bainbridge Islander.  He attended Bainbridge High School and excelled in golf where he earned and athletic scholarship to play golf at Washington State University.  Among his amateur accomplishments, Austin won the prestigious Washington State Amateur Championship at Palouse Ridge and qualified for the US Amateur in 2011 at Erin Hills Country Club.  Austin joined Wing Point's Golf Staff in 2014 and is a Class A member of the PGA of America. Austin most recently qualified to play in the PGA Championship at Southern Hills in 2022 & currently holds the title for 2023 Pacific Northwest Section Champion. Austin enjoys spending time with his wife Christina & his dog daughter Kokanee.

Dominic Lacie hails from Southern California and began at Wing Point Golf & CC as an Assistant Golf Professional in 2014.  Dom is currently the Bainbridge High School Boys Varsity Golf Coach as well as a teaching instructor at Wing Point where he has given hundreds of lessons to players of all ages and ability levels.  'Dom' is married to wife Maggie and has two children, Miles and Ellie.  Dominic is currently enrolled in the PGA of Americas Golf Management Program and is on track to receive his Class A status in 2021.
